Joan Whittingham has been involved with show dogs since 1981, breeding, exhibiting and judging. She currently has four English Springer Spaniels, two imported from the USA and 2 home bred. She started the Dog World South Africa website along with Carol Beuchat in 2001. Carol has since returned to the USA. Joan is the Editor and since Carol's departure the photographer as well. She has published photographs and/or articles in the "Dogs in Review", "AnimalTalk" and "All About Dogs" magazines, along with some pics in the UK Dogworld newspaper.
