I'm a photographer, specialised in dogs,for almost 20 years now. Dogs have always fascinated me and were part of my life since I was born. I studied photography as a free student and got my diploma before the Belgian Governement examination commission. In the meantime I covered all the Belgian Shows and worked as Pedigree's principal photographer in Brussels, Luxemburg, Genoa, Helsinki, Thulln, Basel, Mexico, Milano,Tel-Aviv, Portugal and covered Poznan, Amsterdam, Crufts,Dortmund,Bratislava, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires aswell for famous magazines as Our Dogs, Dog World, Chiens2000, Dog News USA, Dogs in Review, de Hondenwereld and Ringleader. I work also on a regular basis for very famous websites as www.aniwa.com.
I have over 250.000 photos taken under studio conditions or in the mainrings, even about the very rarest breeds in the world. Most of them are champions and their photos are usefull for whatever kind of publication.
In 2001 I started to organise the World Dog Press Association that was officially founded during the World Dog Show in Amsterdam. I take the responsibilities of the association. My main goal is to unite all the Dog Photographers and Reporters and to provide the magazines, from all over the world, with their work in order to globalise dognews and to help my colleagues to escape form their fragile positions. Our Association is now recognised by the AKC, BKC and the FCI (unofficial). Besides dogs, I regularly travel around the world and publish my reports from time to time in travel magazines.
