by António Arrais Due to the not so warm temperature, Portugal is a great country to the realization of dog shows in open air. With a big number of gardens e lawns, and temperatures near the 30 ºC, the months of June to September are the best ones to this activity.
These months are also chosen by some breed clubs ,to the realization of their special breed shows, using the coming of many judges specialized in different breeds to our country which enlarge the number of inscriptions made.The chance of in one weekend they can achieve 2 C.A.C, 1 C.A.C.I.B. and the Q.C which in many times are the necessary to win the title of Portuguese Champion is also a reason to the big number of inscriptions.
It must have been a great weekend to Ms Manuela Gaspar and Mr Ulisses Gaspar,being them the owners of the bitch of the breed Siberian Husky, Karnivanda’s Beatrisa who won BEST IN SHOW in both shows, the National and the International.
