The second day of the double CACIB Show (25.03.2007) was as interesting as the first, despite the fact that the dogs were the same.

The judge team consisted again of Mrs. Beata Petkevica from Latvia, Mrs. Sonia Falletti from Italy), Mr. Bo Skalin (Sweden) was also there, Mr. Andrzej Kazmiersky (Poland), Mr. Ove Germundsson from Sweden, Mr. Joao Filipe Lisboa from Portugal and last -but not least- Mr. Karl-Erik Johansson.

Labrador retrievers were the most popular breed (38 specimens) and they were judged by Mrs. Beata Petkevica who agreed totaly with MrJohansson who judged them on the first day concerning the BOB Winner.Second breed was the Rottweiler, the Dobermann and the Samoyede (27 dogs) judged by Mr. Lisboa, Mrs. Falletti and Mr. Kazmiersky respectively, and third the English Bulldog (23 dogs), in the ring of Mrs Falletti.

Best Puppy in Show was according to Mrs. Falletti was a Cypriot bred female French Bulldog puppy Lady, owned by Mrs.Elena Antoniou( Cyprus), and to the second place, the female English Cocker Costopa's Endless Love (4th Best Puppy in Show on the first day).

Junior Best in Show was (again of course...) the American Akita Shyllar Bear Face Believe It, the BIS of last day. Later it won 4th BIS by Mr. Johansson, who was the judge that sent to the podium number one and to the glory of the Best in Show Winner, the full of quality German Shepherd Mpaco vom Aphrodite Kennel (Kiriakos Georgiou,Cyprus),owned by Mr.N.Pericleous. Mpaco was BOG winner by Mrs.Petkevica.

2nd Best in Show dog was Rooney, the English Pointer (BOG Winner chosen by Mr.Germundsson), of cypriot ownership (N.Gregoriades).

Third BIS was the RBIS dog of the first day Theogonia Aegean Light, Male Bichon Frise (BOG Winner by Mr. Skalin), out of two Jitterbop dogs (Finland), born in Athens -Greece (Theogonia kennel), and owned by Mr. Moyseos (Cyprus).

After the show, the judges experienced -again- the spirit and the quality of the Greek hospitality and gastronomy at the judges dinner.Cyprus is a fantastic Greek island, with great history, wonderful places, and a great opportunity for holidays especially if they are combined with a double CACIB Show.

The Cyprus Kennel Club will organize the Mediterranean Winner Show in autumn, this year.

See you all there!
