par Kiriakos KontadakisThe already 14 years old Athens Canine Society has organized it's 23rd International Show in Paiania (Attica - Greece) in an enclosed hall, simultaneously with the "DIANA" Hunting and Fishing Excibition. We were pleased and honoured to have between us purebred dog experts (our judges for this show) like Mr. Michael Forte from Ireland, Mr. Karl Erik Johansson from Sweden from abroad, and Mr. Athanasios Gopis, Mr. George Kostopoulos and Mr . Nikos Sarantopoulos from our homeland.
At the finals, Mr. Forte has chosen "our" COSMO JUNIOR (OCh. Aryakas Cosmo Junior), Old English Sheepdog bred and owned by Mr.Kanales and Mrs. Antl, for the place of the Best Dog in Show. Cosmo Junior was the biggest pride of Greece in the Crufts Show this year (BOB winner). He is a son of the famous Cosmo (Ch. Reata's Cosmopolitan bred by Mr. Javor Davor - BOB Crufts 2006). A very nice Double...father and son...one after the other...BOB winners in Crufts...
Reserve Best in Show winner was the harlequin Great Dane Multi. Ch Hildydane Zsacharias, bred in Australia (H.F. Schliefert) and owned by Mr. Paul Bainbridge and Craig Hulme living now in Cyprus.
Third Best Dog in that Show was the italian bred (Bernichi) Multi Ch. Paber's Cleaver, (European Winner in Tulln), Lhasa Apso owned by Mr. Kostas Christodoulou from Greece.
