2nd Show for Greek Bred Dogs - Greece

The Greek Kennel Club, on the 8th & 9th of November, held in Stamata Attikis an All Breed Show, only for Greek Bred Dogs. This was the 2nd Show for Greek Bred Dogs, and there were more entries than last year. The Judges were Mr. Luis Pinto Teixeira ( Portugal ), Mr. Antonio Di Lorenzo ( Italy ), Mr. Arno Humberdros ( Germany ), Mr. Georgios Vassileiou ( Greece ), Mr. Athanasios Gkopis (Greece ), Mr. Athanasios Liosis ( Greece ) and Mr. Stelios Makaritis (Greece ). The top entry of the show was on German Shepherd Dog.
On Saturday the groups 2, 3 & 8 were judged.
Best in Group 2, was the Bullmastif Gr.Ch.Serendipity Bullini Is a Phainomenon, owned by Mrs. Alexia Kammenou & Mr. Kostas Kokkinakis.
Best in Group 3, was the West Highland White Terrier, Mitsiter Afroditi, owned by Ms. Kalaitzidaki Mitsi, a successful terrier breeder & exhibitor.
Best in Group 8, was the Golden Retriever, Serendipity Treasured Goddess Artemis, owned by Mrs. Alexia Kammenou & Kokkinaki Helianna, who was only 9.5 months on that day. This was the first time in Group, that an exhibitor wins two groups with home-breds dogs, quite a big honor!
The second day, Sunday were the groups 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and the finals.
Best in Group 1, was the German Shepherd Dog, Oldo Apo Armani, owned by Mr. Giorgo Tontoria, who came from the Youth Class, to win the huge breed entry.
Best in Group 4, was the Dachshund Zwerg Shorthaired, Gr.Ch.Olympic Flame Mean Mr. Mustard, owned by the dachshund experts Mr. & Mrs. Kourouklis.
Best in Group 5, was the Japanese Spitz, Gr.Ch.Alaniaris Foivos, owned by Mrs. Michailaki Kakia & Miss Kalafati Katerina.
Best in Group 6, was the Beagle, Gr.Ch.M.C. of Palmhill Fine Champagne, owned by Mrs. Margarita Weber & Mr. Zaroliakis Christos, and handled by their son, Giorgos who also won the Junior Handling Competition.
Best in Group 7, was the German Shorthaired Pointer (Kurzhaar), Prophet Elias’s Nabucco, bred & owned by Mr. & Mrs. Ontria.
Best in Group 9, was the French Bulldog, of Mr. Yianni Ghioulpaloglou’s Roi Solleil Apollon De La Porta Di Myconos.
The Group 10 was won by the Whippet of Mr. George Kostopoulos’ Gr.Ch.Allsatin Belgian Chocolate.
Best Puppy in Show was the Frenchie, White Rose De La Porta Di Myconos, owned by Mr. Ghioulpaloglou.
Best Junior In Show, was the Golden Retriever, Golden Retriever, Serendipity Treasured Goddess Artemis, owned by Mrs. Alexia Kammenou.
At the Best In Show competition, the judge Mr. Teixeira placed 3rd the French Bulldog, 2nd the Whippet and for the top spot the winner of the Group 1, the German Shepherd Dog.
