by Edwin & Ann LenaertsThe beautiful village of Pommeroeul (Belgium) was again chosen by the Belgian Weimaraner Club for the 10th specialized show for weimaraners.
The judge who was invited for this show was breed specialist Mr. Leenen T. (B). He had to judge over 60 weimaraners, the weather was perfect and after a whole day of individual class judgment judge Mr. Leenen T. was able to award the BOB to the shorthaired male "Yorba" from Fam. Jacobs - Theys(B)
The best female and BOS went to Grey Classics Zody from Lenaerts - Dewinter.(B) , both winning dogs with American roots where truly eye catchers.
Female Res. CAC went to Ch. Grey Classics Xelises owned by Luppens V. This female is again on her way to become for a 2nd time Belgian Top Weimaraner. We wish her all the best on her further way! The BOB of the longhairs went to Tumic Du Triangle De La Seigliere. After knowing the 2 Best of breeds (long and shorthaired), judge Mr. Leenen T. awarded the shorthaired male weimaraner 'Yorba' the Best in Show title.
This year the Belgian clubmatch was a 10th edition show with a great hope of an even better future for this fascinating breed. I do hope to see a higher entry knowing the Dutch organisation went over 110 entries this year.
The organisation can look back satisfied to a successful day.
