by Karl Donvil24 DECEMBER FROM NOW ON "WORLD DOG DAY"
Celebrating the faith and loyalty of our beloved dogs once in a year? 24 December will start being World Dog Day from now on.
Almost every day on the calendar there is something to celebrate going from the well known “Mothers day”’ over “Valentine’s Day” to “ Secretary Day” and many others in between. But there is no day that celebrates man’s best friend, our beloved dogs. This must change as dogs deserve to have all attention at least one day in a year while they give all their attention and care for us 365 days a year. No other animal is so versatile in performing tasks to help humans and stands closer to us than any other animal we know. This date is chosen according to the world famous story of “the Dog of Flanders” , where Nello (boy) and Patrache (dog) die on Christmas evening side by side in the Cathedral of Antwerp (http://www.beneluxguide.com/belgium/nello-and-patrasche-the-antwerps-story-of-the-dog-of-flanders/).
WWW.123DOG.NET wants to start a new tradition and celebrate our dogs on 24 December from now on. Please send this message around to your friends, via Facebook, Twitter, any other means or just by forwarding this e-mail to all your friends. Make translations and spread the news worldwide. By 24 December I hope to get it in the news somewhere (or by preference everywhere) in the world. If you have a dog, you know he deserves it. Turn 24 December from now on into “World Dog Day”. START IMMEDIATELY!!!!
