Spanish Molosser Clubwinner Show 2007  -  Espagne

The 25th Annual CAC Show of the Spanish Club for Mastiff breeds the well known CLUB ESPANOL DE LOS MOLOSOS DE ARENA or the XXV ESPOSICION MONOGRAFICA DEL CEMA was held in Alicante, in the coastal city in the south of Spain on the 6th of December 2007 in a closed hall.

There were about 200 dogs entered, divided in the well known classes belonging in the six breeds of the club : the Bullmastiff, the Dogue de Bordeaux (or Dogo de Burdeos in spanish), the Fila Brasileiro, the English Mastiff, the Mastino Napoletano and the Tosa Inu.

For this show, the board of the club had invited Mr. Rene Pras (F) for the Dogues de Bordeaux and the Mastiffs, Mr Guido Vandoni (I) for the Mastini Napoletani and the Tosas, Ms Lorraine Crowley (GB) for the Bullmastiffs, and Mr. Rafael Escar Tabuena for the Filas Brasileiros.

The show terrain was sufficient with huge rings and experienced stewards and everything went smoothly, without difficulties.

Mr. Escar had a bit less than 31 Filas in his ring (some dogs were absent). His Best Baby in Breed (Class 3-6 months) was AMY DEL SILEDIN, fawn female bred and owned by Mr. Martinez (E). Amy is out of Massara Del Siledin and the brazilian bred Quya Dos Tabayara.

Best Puppy in Breed was WAIMIRI DEL SILEDIN, the brindle son of Quibira Dos Tabayara and Nimbuia Dos Tabayara, born in Spain, bred by Mr.Martinez and owned by Mr.P.Gadea. Waimiri was Best Baby in Breed in the Open Show of the club in Valladolid in June 2007 (reportage in the website of WDPA).

Best Junior in Breed was the fawn female BRUMA DE TERRAS DE VERA CRUZ bred and owned by Ms. J. Felix from Portugal.

In the adult males, the open class was won by QUIBIRA DOS TABAYARA bred by Mr.Giancotti (BR) and owned by Mr. Alcaraz Alcazar (E). Quibira won also the CAC and the Clubwinner - Best Male title from the winner of the Champion Class FALLERO DE BRASILCAN (out of Diego Del Siledin and Sombra Del Siledin) bred by the Brasilcan kennel (E) and owned by Mr. Botella.

In the females, I had the honor and the pleasure to handle the fawn female QUYYNHA DOS TABAYARA the Best Female Fila of the show (CAC winner) who was later the Best of Breed. QUYYNHA was born in Minas Gerais in Brazil, her breeder is Mr.Cristovao Giancotti and her owner Mr. Jose Salvador Martinez (Siledin kennel)(E).

She is now a Spanish Champion too, and BOB in the International Show of Alicante 3 days later.

A nice double win for the Tabayara kennel with these very typy 2 year old littermates son and daughter of the great CAFIB CH. Lampiao do Alto Quatis (very recently deceased) and Iuca dos Tabayara.

Next to the Filas ring, was the ring of Signore Guido Vandoni (I) with 23 Mastini Napoletani entered.

Best puppy, the 8 months old black female ARTEMISA, daughter of Manuellito Dello Stradone, she was born in Spain (breeder : E. Diaz, owner : E. Rodriguez Redondo) and got the title from the male JUDAS DE LOS GLADIADORES DE ARENA (Sauron De Los Gladiadores De Arena x Jana De Los Gladiadores De Arena) bred and owned by Mr. Martinez (E).

The title of the best Junior in breed was given to REMO DE AZZURRA, 15 month old grey male, (Nemo Del Castellaccio x Nerina De Azzurra), bred and owned by Mr. C. M. Munoz (E).

Best male in the Intermediate Class was WALTER DE LOS GLADIADORES DE ARENA, (Overto x Turca) owned by Mr. Martinez (E).

Then there was the Open Class won by MARCO DE LOS GLADIADORES DE ARENA (Malandrino x Pretty De Los Gladiadores De Arena) owned by Mr. Martinez (E) and the second place was given to FRAGOLINO OF THE WITCHES MELTINGPOT (Ragazzo of the Witches Meltingpot x Tecla), bred and owned by Ms. Gustavsen (NO). Nr1 in the Champion Class was BONGO (Mussolino x Sara) bred by Mr. Lelli and owned by Mr. Martinez (E). Bongo was Best Male Mastino Napoletano in the Show.

In the females, the title of Best Female and the CAC went to AURORA (Ogan x Carmela) bred and owned by Mr. Martinez (E). Aurora got the title over the XERA DE LOS GLADIADORES DE ARENA (from the Champion Class) (Varco Della Grotta Azzurra x Cleo De Los Gladiadores De Arena), and was later the Best of Breed Mastino Napoletano.

In his ring, Mr.Pras had no less than 51 Dogues De Bordeaux.

In the MALES, best in the Baby Class was ODIN DEL DOMINIO DE LOS PENATES (Rhodonite Reno Emberez x White Bulldog Nofretiti) owned by Mr. Callejon.

Best Male Puppy was BRUGAL DE ANAIRD DOGOS (Satsuma de el Siscar x Descree de Noblesse Rouge) owned by Mr.Martinez Hurtado.

In the Junior Class (5 entries), Nr1 was the 15 month old FRINGS VAN DE PATERHOEK (Ch. Dillen Van de Paterhoek x Deva van de Paterhoek) bred in Holland and owned by Mr. Sanchez (E).

BALZAC ROY DE L’ETANG DE MIRLOUP, at the age of 18 months was the first in the Intermediate Class. Balzac (Querse Rosse x Chene de Legeane) is owned by Mr.Diaz.

Next Class, the Open Class, with no less than 10 entries, and the first place according to Mr. Pras, went to UDSON DE L’ETANG DE MIRLOUP (Brut Van de Paterhoek x Olive Dame du Clos de Silazac) owned by Mr. Brault.

The judging of the males was completed with the Champion Class, with one entry, the 3,5 year old MOBY DE LEGEANE (Temple Felson x Chene de Legeane) owned by Mrs.Diaz. Moby was Best Male and later Best of Breed.

In the Females, the Baby Class was won by ESSAMINE LACRIMA HELIANDUM, 5 months old, (Udson de L’Etang de Mirloup x Connelly Lacrima Heliandum) and her owner Mrs. Callejon. Essamine was Best Baby in Breed.

First in the Puppy Class, and Winner among 7 puppies, the 8,5 months old MELANIA DEL DOMINIO DE LOS PENATES (out of Rhodonite Reno Emberez and Niagara del Dominio de los Penates). She won also the title of the Best Puppy in the Breed.

The Junior Class had 7 competitors as well, and the first place went to SAMBA DE EL SISCAR (Mdenapoli Smokin Joe x Ch. Odile de el Siscar) bred and owned by Mr. Sanchez (E).

VANIA DE L’ETANG DE MIRLOUP (Satsuma de L’Etang de Mirloup x Swana de L’Etang de Mirloup), owned by Mr. Sanchez won the Open Class and FIONA Z VICKVSKEHO MILYNA (Ch. Signore Kwan de la Seigneurie des Chartons x Szemtleleki Voros Suzy) was the Champion Class Winner.

BOOGY BOOFY DE L’ETANG DE MIRLOUP (Szentleleki Voros Roy x Urbanne de L’Etang de Mirloup) owned by C. Aubaux won the Intermediate Class.

In the Bullmastiffs, Mrs. Crowley had 61 specimens in the breed, so she was the judge of the breed with the most entries in the show.

Baby Class : FREDY DE BULLROTTCAN ( Ch. Hilderstone Boss for Colkevar x Ch. K-Numa de Bullrottcan) owned by Mr. A. Pareja Cuadrado. He was the Best Baby in Breed as well.

Puppy Class: LOS CESPEDES RICHAR (Ch. Mexx V.D. Bullmahoeven x Ch. Los Cespedes La Venus del Nilo) owned by Mr. J. Bernal Herrera.

Junior Class : AXARCAN-BULL’S JULIO CESAR (Ch. Dragon of The Woodbull Farm x Empuries D’Agafa L’Ase bred and owned by Axarcan-Bull’s Kennel.

Intermediate Class : NUM. 59. ENOL D’ASTURIES PATRIA QUERIDA (Flinstock Easy Rider x Bruxa D’Asturies Patria Querida), owner: R. Romero Lopez.

Open Class : KILIKI DE NAGUSI (Ch. Asken de Nagusi x Desdemona de Ibarrangoa) owned by Mr.Ubeda Ulzurrun.

Champion Class: ENRRY DE AXARCAN-BULL’S (Enroute D’Agafa L’Ase x Empuries D’Agafa L’Ase), bred and owned by Axarcan-Bull’s BEST OF BREED



FEMALES:

Baby Class : ENYA DE SILGUERO (Flinstock Easy Rider x Atenea de los Reyes Catolicos) bred and owned by Mr. L. Gomez Alonso.

Puppy Class: LOS CESPEDES RAPSODIA FOR ALTO CRISTELO (Ch. Mexx V.D. Bullmahoeve x Ch. Los Cespedes la Venus del Nilo) owned by Casa Alto Cristelo kennel.BEST PUPPY IN BREED.

Junior Class : DANNA HAPPY DE AL ALBA (Ch. Dragon of The Woodbull Farm x Bohra Happy de la Yosa) owned by J. Dominguez Cabornero. BEST JUNIOR IN BREED.

Intermediate Class : PI-ET-RA FROM HORSESHOE (Pi-Et-Ra Zebulon of Trefilio x Night of the Sound Bianka), owned by L.A. Grencho Serrano.

Open Class : BALA DE BULLROTTCAN (Ch. Karson de Bullrottcan x Pandora de Bullrottcan) owner Pareja Cuadrado.BEST FEMALE.

Champion Class: ERIKA DE AXARCAN-BULL’S (Enroute D’Agafa L’Ase x Empuries D’Agafa L’Ase) owner : Axarcan-Bull’s kennel.



Mr. R. Pras was also the judge for the Mastiffs, with only 2 specimens in the breed. BOB title went to the 3.5 years old Champion Male VALESCO DE MOLOSSIE (Major League x Sirene de Molossie) owned by Mrs. Belloto/Laubriat.

Last, (but not least!), the Japanese Tosa, judged by Mr Vandoni, who had only one entry in his ring. BOB title to the male ISAN OD JANUSOW from the Open Class (Sendai Du center Club Moloss Wolf x Nez Wolki) an entry from France owned by Mr. Bordet.



Later, we all gathered around the main ring for the Finals. The top dogs for this Show were selected by the group of all judges together.



Best Progeny Group, the descendants of QUIBIRA DOS TABAYARA, Fila Brasileiro, bred by Mr. Giancotti (BR) and owned by Mr. Alcaraz Alcazar.

Best Breeding Group, the impressive entry of the SILEDIN kennel (J.S. Martinez (E)) with 8 Filas in the ring.



Best Couple, was Udson de L'Etang de Mirloup and Boogy Boogy de L'Etang de Mirloup, Dogues De Bordeaux owned by Mr. Garcia Garcia.

Best Baby, was as previously mentioned ESAMINE LACRIMA HELIANDUM, Dogue De Bordeaux.

Best Puppy in Show title went to WAIMIRI DEL SILEDIN, the brindle male Fila puppy, owned by Mr.Gadea Blanco.

Best Junior in Show, REMO DE AZZURRA Mastino Napoletano owned by Mr. Mateo Munoz.

Last title to be awarded, the top title BEST IN SHOW, or BIS, and the Best of Breed Winners entered the ring one by one. All were examined carefully, especially by those judges who did not judge the breed. Then, they had let us know that the BIS for the XXV ESPOSICION MONOGRAFICA DEL CEMA was the FILA BRASILEIRO QUYYNHA DOS TABAYARA.



That was the Annual CAC Show of the Spanish Club for Mastiff type breeds for 2007, a nice show, a very well organized show, and above all, a Show held in the wonderful atmosphere made by the Spanish dog lovers. And if we consider the fact that this Show was running along with various other 'Monograficas" ( Bobtail, Dogo Canario, St. Bernard, Terriers etc) AND that in the following 3 days two other Shows took place in the same halls (National Alicante and International Alicante), it was a great Show bundle for every dog lover.
