nieuws - 06/10/2007 Expo National "Cimarron Uruguayo" 2007 - Argentinië
door Francisco GonzalezThe 4th National "Perro Cimarron Uruguayo" 2007 Dog Show was organizated by it's Breed Society, Sociedad Criadores Cimarron Uruguayo, filial of the Kennel Club Uruguayo -KCU- afiliated at F.C.I., the past october 7.
Was hold in an old Headquarters of the Blandengues Corps, the army of Gral. Jose Artigas our national heroe, in a historical town - Cerrito - of the Montevideo City.
The National Dog Show of our natural dog is the most important event for that breed and of course for our cinophilia in Uruguay.
The dog CIMARRON URUGUAYO has been used for centuries in our country in differents activites, like cattle dog, big game, hunting and protections and defense of the house and the family of the man.
Its origen is in the croosing of ancient dogs that become with the first conquerors -spanish and potuguses- that discover this lands in the 18 century.
May be crossed too with indian dogs that live here with this first poblation here.
Now is reconignized by the FCI in the gropu 2 in the section 2 of Molossoides and Dogue type dogs.
In this moment the KCU have more than 4.500 Cimarron's registred and with is society the SCCU had organizated 139 dog shows in all the coutry of Uruguay.
The expositions
The shows of the day beging with the 139o. Exposition, judged by Mr. Adrian Landarte, all rounder judge KCU, Cimarron breeder and co-owned of "El Retorno Kennel".
The BOB was "Yapa de Arequita" a 3 year bitch (brindle), breed, owned and exposed by Fernando Zaballos, like the Best Opossite Sex "Crudo de Arequita" a 5 year dog (faun)from the same breeder.
At next time was the Couples and Veterans Expo at charge of Mr. Jorge Nallem co-owner too of "El Retorno Kennel" and the best place was for "Huron" y "Milonga del Rastro" exposed by Adrian Blanco.
In the Veteran Expo the best was for "Boliche de Quilligan" a 7 year old dog.
The most important "National Dog Show" was judges by the veterinarian Dr. Alfredo Tocce, breeder of the breed and owned of "Los Montaraces Kennel".
The BOB in this time was for "Crudo de Arequita" and the Best Opossite Sex for "Yapa de Aquita" with the same details that the before expo.
At the end of a sunshine day we can apreciatte a task work with a Cimarron making atack.
