The Italian Newfoundland club show always a very good quality and atmospheric show. This happened this year too, the show was held on 7th and 8th of May, in Centergross, Villa Orsi, near to Bologna.
The judges were Mrs. Regina Schneider, breeder of the Midnight Bay kennel, and Mrs. Lou Ann Lenner, breeder of the Sunvalley kennel. For the show were near 170 dogs for both days. Saturday and Sunday were two different shows, and finally there was a special competition, the Gold Cup, for what competed the best four dog and bitches from both days.
The Saturday Best Dog and BOS was Black Pride Adonis from Skippers „Charlie”, bred by J. Bistricki, owned by Bela Siklosi, handed by Gabor Maróti. The Best Bitch and BOB was Capriccio’s Sand’n the Sea-Brook, bred by Pam Rubio, owned and handled by Manilo Massa.
Sunday best Dog and BOB was Skipper’s Emperior King of Helluland „Carlos”, bred by Siklosi-Krockovci, owned by Bela Siklosi, handed by Gabor Maróti. Best Bitch and BOS was Midnight Lady’s Piece of My Heart, bred and owned by Zsuzsa Somos, handled by Zsolt Hanó.
The special judge of the Gold Cup was Gloria Urbani, the breeder of the Llago Degli Orsi kennel. The Gold Cup winner was Poch Cove’s Walk Tall Cayuga „Kevin”, bred by Peggy Helming, owned by Manlio Massa, handled by Fabio Allegra.
